Wisconsin Halloween 2026 haunted houses and events preview

Spooky season is upon us (though this weather may not feel like it yet) and that means all our favorite haunts will soon be opening their doors. Here’s a quick look at what’s coming for us this Halloween, from new scares at Wisconsin’s best haunted houses to encounters beyond the veil with our great weird state’s overactive afterlife.

Survive Jason at Terror on the Fox

The new Friday the 13th series Crystal Lake airs this October (RIP Victor Miller), so why not celebrate by trying to survive Jason yourself? In Green Bay, Terror on the Fox is bringing us a unique, officially licensed immersive “Survive the Night” Jason experience that pits you against the iconic slasher Jason Voorhees. There’s even a “Director’s Cut” experience that puts you inside a rustic cabin with a screen and a set of buttons that let you control how Jason strikes next.

Terror on the Fox opens September 19th. Get tickets now!
