About
Milwaukee Horror Con is a full-scale immersion into horror culture, where Midwest fandom collides with the genre’s most enduring icons, creators, and underground voices. Wisconsin’s only dedicated horror convention draws fans from across the region for a multi-day experience built around celebrity appearances, autograph sessions, and photo ops with actors from cult classics and modern horror franchises. The convention floor is packed with curated vendors specializing in horror collectibles, art, oddities, and exclusive merchandise, transforming the space into a marketplace of the macabre.
Beyond the vendor hall, Milwaukee Horror Con leans into community and spectacle. Panels, Q&As, and live discussions give fans direct access to the people behind their favorite films, while a dedicated indie horror film festival showcases emerging filmmakers pushing the genre forward. Cosplay is central to the atmosphere, with themed contests and crowd participation turning the convention into a living horror scene. This is, after all, the event that set the World Record in 2026 for the most Jasons gathered in one place with a crowd that included actual screen jasons Ari Lehman (“First Jason”) and CJ Graham, as well as Wisconsin’s own cheese-masked slasher Jason Voorcheese.
Whether you’re there to meet a genre legend, discover underground filmmakers, or walk the floor surrounded by masked figures and practical effects artistry, this event delivers a concentrated dose of horror that signals the start of spooky season long before October.
