The Wisconsin 48 Hour Film Project brings its annual Wisconsin Thrillers Awards to X-Ray Arcade in Cudahy for an afternoon of horror and sci-fi short films, filmmaking awards, and a shot at international competition. Part Oscars-style awards show and part film festival, the event showcases some of the best short films produced by Wisconsin and Midwest filmmakers through the 48 Hour Film Project.
Attendees will see a lineup of horror and science-fiction shorts before finding out which filmmaking team takes the top prize and advances to international competition, with a screening slot at the Cannes Film Festival’s Short Film Corner on the line.
