About
Abandoned Haunted House Complex in Mount Pleasant is one of southeastern Wisconsin’s biggest Halloween destinations, packing three full-length haunted houses into a single night. The attraction’s three main experiences are designed to hit very different kinds of fear: Ambush Haunted House delivers roughly 20 minutes of dark, startle-heavy scares with loud noises, sudden appearances, intense lighting and elaborate scenes; Hysteria Haunted House turns confusion and sensory manipulation into the centerpiece, using misdirection, illusions and interactive scares; and Stalker Haunted House takes the terror outdoors, sending visitors through shacks, scenes and vegetation while characters lurk around the route. Together, the three attractions provide more than an hour of haunted entertainment.
The complex is located near the Racine-Kenosha area and is especially convenient for a Halloween road trip from Milwaukee or northern Illinois. Beyond the three haunted houses, Abandoned has offered axe throwing and other interactive experiences, while its Blackout Night strips Hysteria of its normal lighting and sends groups through the attraction in near-total darkness with only an LED candle to guide them. If you want a Wisconsin haunted house that gives you the most scare for your money with multiple distinct attractions, elaborate production and a substantial amount of time inside, Abandoned Haunted House Complex belongs near the top of the list.
