Aquavia Lumina

Aquavia Lumina transforms a natural sandstone canyon in the Wisconsin Dells into an immersive nighttime journey of light, sound, projection, lasers, and theatrical effects. Created by Montreal-based multimedia studio Moment Factory and presented by Wilderness Resort, the roughly one-mile outdoor trail follows a mystical deer searching for The Source, a legendary spring said to possess the power to transform nature. Along the route, nine story-driven zones combine the canyon itself with synchronized lighting, video projections, original music, fog, and other special effects.

The experience takes approximately 45–60 minutes and is designed to be explored at a relaxed pace, with each chapter revealing another part of the story. Highlights include a simulated lightning storm, illuminated canyon formations, interactive water-themed scenes, a synchronized display of luminous dewdrops and moonlight, and the finale at The Source. The trail is open nightly, year-round, beginning at dusk, making Aquavia Lumina an unusual Wisconsin Dells attraction whether you’re visiting during the busy summer season, fall foliage, or the colder months. A welcome area includes a campfire, snacks and beverages, a photo opportunity, and a gift shop.
