Burial Chamber Haunted House Complex in Neenah is one of Wisconsin’s larger multi-attraction Halloween destinations, packing four very different scares into one location at 500 N. Lake Street. Adrenaline is a high-intensity indoor haunt built around huge sets, animatronics, lasers, strobes, loud noises and creatures coming at you from every direction, while Insanity takes a more psychologically disorienting approach with clowns, unusual environments, misdirection and interactive effects. Outside, Phobia turns the woods into a horror-movie setting filled with darkness and outdoor scares, giving you a completely different experience from the indoor attractions.

Then there’s Trapped Buried Alive, Burial Chamber’s signature group experience. Instead of simply riding in a coffin simulator, groups of up to 30 people are covered with 80,000 sanitized plastic play-pit balls to simulate the sensation of being buried alive. Individual attractions generally run about 15–20 minutes, but the complex is designed as a full night of Halloween entertainment, with food, drinks, roaming line entertainment and QuickPass options available for busy nights. Burial Chamber is located just off Highway 41 in the Fox Cities, about five minutes south of the Fox River Mall, making it an easy destination for a haunted house night in the Neenah-Appleton area.

For an even more intense version of the experience, select late-season nights turn Adrenaline into a Blackout attraction, sending groups through the haunt in complete darkness with only an LED candle to find their way. The attraction also traditionally opens with a nightly Monster Parade, and operates rain or shine.
