Founded in 2006 by BJ and Eileen Winslow, Dapper Cadaver supplies props for film and television productions, haunted attractions, escape rooms, Halloween parties and other projects, while fabricating many of its larger and more realistic pieces in-house. The shop has supplied thousands of productions, including American Horror Story, Law & Order, 9-1-1 and Shōgun.

Many of the props are cast from real bodies or made from authentic medical and mortuary items. And if you can’t find the right corpse or dismembered limb for your vision, they’ll custom build it in-house. The shop caters to productions, artists, collectors, and anyone with a penchant for the peculiar. And yes, Dapper Cadaver is open to the public, with a showroom packed with horror, Halloween, medical, scientific and macabre props. Expect skeletons, skulls and bones, fake body parts, anatomical specimens, coffins, tombstones, specimen jars, animal props, gothic décor and the kind of disturbingly realistic dummies that look more at home on a movie set than in a retail shop.
