The former location of the Oxford Apartments where the infamous “Milwaukee Cannibal” Jeffrey Dahmer lived (apt. #213) and committed many of his murders between 1987 and 1991. The building was demolished in 1992, roughly a year after Dahmer’s arrest and the discovery of the crimes. Dahmer lured victims to the apartment, carrying out horrific acts that shocked the nation and left a lasting mark on Milwaukee’s history.
The site is now a fenced-in vacant lot, serving as a quiet space dedicated to the memory of Dahmer’s victims and a reminder of the city’s dark past.
