The Madison 48-Hour Film Project hosts the premiere of more than two dozen sci-fi and horror films made by local Wisconsin filmmakers at the Highway 18 Outdoor Theater in Jefferson.

The 48-Hour Film Project is a competition in which filmmakers have just one weekend, 48 hours, to write, film and edit a short film. Each team is randomly assigned a genre, prop, character, and line of dialogue that must be used in the film.
